Friday, February 23, 2007 I picked up this beautiful Mexican tablecloth yesterday at the market in LaPenita, just north of Sayulita. It measures 213 cm long by 152 cm wide. For those that are metric-ly challenged, this 2.13 meters by 1.52 meters. It's actually a blanket, but don't tell the tablecloth, it thinks it's a tablecloth. If it ever new, it might go postal and turn into rags. I post this picture, because this blanket/tablecloth is for sale. I can purchase these for 200 pesos or about $18 usd. All I add is $2 bucks for transport, so for $20 you get a really bright product from Mexico. There are many different colors to choose from and I will gladly send you more pics if you're interested. Note: this is not one of those cheap $4 blankets you get in Tijijana that have that smell. I leave Mexico by April 1st, so let me know well before that date.

Zoe and Al are my favorites and when they play at the Macondo restaurant, I am almost always in the audience. Perhaps that is where I should have stayed when asked to play the harmonica. Visiting Canadians, Jean and Sheryl, friends and relatives of Norma & Loren, were enjoying the evening.

Here we have a great sunset dinner at Casa Pacifica which is a mile south of Sayulita heading towards Carasita beach. A pasta feast was fantastic with the bonus of Alberto & Dora owners of the Fish Taco place in town doing much of the cooking. Kattie, Gail & Pablo's daughter adds to the festivities with a birthday song for Alberto.
Fantastic food, friends, and sunset!

Happy Valentine's Day! These pics show some of the wares for sale in the campground.
Rita has the jewelry from her daughter's store on Oregon. Many items are from all over the world including Bali.
Ron the fisherman, has his colorful and expensive rugs and shirts from the mountains of Mexico.
The oil and pastels are from Devon, a local artist.

Three retirees, each with a hearing loss, were playing golf one fine March day. One remarked to the other, "Windy, isn't it?" "No," the second man replied, "it's Thursday." And the third man chimed in, "So am I. Let's have a beer."

Here is a typical happy hour at the RV park at 5pm.

Domingo, Febrero Cuatro, Dos Mil Siete
The afternoon began with Happy Hour at Rick & Leslie's place followed by a glass of wine at the new house which is being built in Sayulita and ending in San Pancho for pizza and music.
Do you really think Clancey and I traveled on plastic chairs in the back of Loren's pickup?

If you were to go to: www.casa-juanita.com, you would find a great place to rent while in Sayulita. The views are fantastic and that was the location of last night's wine & cheese party hosted by Juanita or as her friends call her, Tuck. These are a few pics of that party.
