Fishing in Banderas Bay

Ok, I'm back after a serious bout with my Fruit of the Loom and Montezuma.  TP was as precious as propane.  But enough on that.  How about a fishing story.

We departed the docks in Nuevo Vallarta at 8am on a bright
sunny Saturday morning for a 3 hour tour.
(actually 6 hour tour)

Neil was first up and it didn't take long for him to start the
long chore of reeling in a nice sized Jack Caravelle.
(from the tuna family, Charlie's uncle)

Before long Chris and I joined in the fun and all three of
us were reeling in dinner.  It's sooo much easier buying fish.
But not as fun.

By 9am, we had caught 5 out of 6 fish. There were 6 paying customers on board.
Note for next time, 4 hours is plenty of time.

Either the fish is huge and I am enormous or the camera adds 20 lbs.
(please no comments)

The crew kept busy cleaning our prize catches.  As the last fish
was being fileted, this young mate watched his sharp knife slide
off the back of the boat.

Aye, Captain, that was a hard days work.  Two hour long naps later,
I emerged from the bow with a beer in hand.

This is one of six filets we took home with us.
Now what do we do?

Dinner was enjoyed by all at Dugeral's Plays Beachfront Restaurant in Bucerias.
For 85 pesos they prepared our fish and served it with the trimmings.
Oh, the sunset was awesome.
