Some of you might recognize these landmarks. St. John's Lutheran Church & School in Montello, WI. I had the pleasure of attending service there this morning. Some coincidence that it was Rich Janke's installation service as he begins his service as principal of the school. Quite a few Rosenow's attended this school in the '60's and I was confirmed in this church on March 20, 1970 by none other than Pastor Paul Kolander. Loads of memories as I walked around the place and during the service. A big congratulations to Rich, also! After the service, there was a great Lutheran potluck meal in the church basement. Absolutely some of the best food! Most enjoyable. Hotdish with chips crumbled on the top. Doesn't really get any better. Jello dishes, and tons of deserts. And then there's the Lutheran coffee!
