Began the day with a Doner from Stern in Obrigheim. A Doner is a Turkish sandwich in a pita bread. Quite tasty.
After the afternoon nap and some internet market research, we headed over to Ziggy & Marianne’s place, around the corner from Rick, so that we could ride with them to Gunderlsheim, a nearby village, where we attended a Besen. A Besen is a place where you eat that is also a butcher. The food was fantastic, the wine was flowing quite heavily, and the company was outstanding.
The photo has Ziggy, Rick, Marrianne, and myself. Ziggy had ordered the blood sausage, so I had to take that photo also. Rick and I shared an order of schnitzel. Delicious. The young couple is Z&M's son, Stefan and his girlfriend.
