Today’s highlight and entry features Vista Vallarta Hotel & Pool.I had made up my mind to make the trek and about 3:30 I set out. By 4pm, I was standing in front of it. Allow 20-30 leisure walking time, especially with a moderately sore toe. (yes, it’s back)
Again, the photos don’t do it justice, but they do shorten this story. Because the weather was a bit cool, even for me, only 2 persons besides me, were present. One being the bartender, the other a server. Mike was right, 2 x 1 Coronas for 30 pesos. Way cool. Use of the pool and beach chairs….and a great wifi connection. This is getting even better. The bar/restaurant under the huge palapa serves your normal chips, hamburgers, and hot dogs. This looks like a perfect place to sit and read all day. Note, that is exactly what my sister Bec, who is scheduled to arrive on the 19th likes to do. And they have Diet Coke. I mean Cola Lite, as they refer to it down here.

My return trip, via The Shamrock, was by beach, and it was a very easy and enjoyable hobble. Highly recommended as part of my new personal Gym membership. (more on that, later)

Cola Lite is not Diet Coke. It was horrible and gave me a bad headache. I never tried it again down there and was very happy to be back in the states to have "real" Diet Coke. Hope Bec finds something she likes.
Yeah! That is one place I want to investigate--normal hotdogs and hamburgers (not spicy tacos) and Cola Lite--I'll have to try it once and see if it gives me a headache. I drink 4 cans a day of USA stuff--so maybe this has mucho caffeine in it so 1 can will do me? Not sure why I'm going to Mexico--except for the brothers (and Sharon :-) and so Len can go ocean fishing!!
