As you might surmise, I am working on my Spanish. Months, days of the weeks and numbers. More of a refresher, but if you don’t use a foreign language, daily, the refresher is translated “to start from the beginning”.
I have discovered that there are certain phrases that are necesario to survive here in Mexico. ¿A qué hora puedo recoger mi lavado de ropa? Or What time can I pick up my laundry? And ¿Puede usted hacer que la criada friegue los platos? Or Can you have the maid do my dishes?
Of course it doesn’t hurt to learn ¿Dónde están los cuartos de baño? And
¿Cerveza por favor?
Enough on my learning disabilities. Let’s talk about Villas Del Palmar, which is where my brother Pete & Sharon are staying. It is located about 2 blocks from me and right next to the trailer park. The condos in Villas Del Palmar abuts the beach and the two photos I took yesterday, whilst I was reading, were taken there. One of course looking out at the beach, the other looking back towards the condos. This is also where most of the sunset pictures are taken every evening.

If you go to www.sayulitalife.com you can tons of info. FYI these places rent for about $175-$190/night. So if 2 or 3 couples want to share, it's not too bad. They are popular, so a person needs to book them almost a year in advance. Enjoy!
