Reason #6 for choosing Mexico: Sunsets.
To quote my brother Pedro when asked what was on his to-do list for the day, “Sunset!”.” Here’s a case where the camera does not do it justice. You simply have to be here to experience it. Along with the sunset, is the sound of the waves. Sometimes pounding the beach like thunder, and at other times, a light swooshing as the water recedes through the rocks and shells. And the colors…. amazing! is putting it mildly. If you’re fortunate, you might even catch the FLASH just as the sun dips below the horizon. While checking my photos from my previous 6 years in Mexico, I noticed that sunsets were roughly on a 3:1 ratio. Three times as many sunset photos than any other subject. Enjoy the 2010 ones, and know that I have a lot more on file. For me, the coolest thing about sunsets is that it makes me re-focus on the creator and artist, God. Where's your focus?
