Please, let me respond to that question!
After each session, the speakers fielded questions from the audience. Of course I had to challenge my daughter! I felt her cringe when she noticed her father raising his hand. However, I was gentle, and she answered the 3 part question brilliantly.
(this portion was written while returning from David's graduation in San Diego) I was all set to connect on line while flying at 30,000 ft. but decided that $12.95 would pay for 10 beers in WI, , 3 beers in CA, or 2 beers in MA….not going to happen. But I can work on the narrative for my blog while sipping a Chardonnay. (Oh the sacrifices I make!)
Again, back to Williams College where we are about to embark on a 3 day graduation celebration for Jamie. Day 1, at the Clark Institute, was the Graduates Symposium where each grad has to downsize their 100 plus page paper into a 20 minute speech. A lot tougher than you might imagine. Jamie was the 13th speaker out of 14 and she absolutely nailed it. (of course I’m biased) Not only was her speech brilliant, it was different, informative, and entertaining. We’re talking Art/History.
We enjoyed a very nice lunch at the Penthouse of the Clark Institute before returning to Jamie’s talk, the last session of the day.
