So how do you finish a pictorial of such a historic city? The butcher skinning a pig! Now that's what I'm talking about!

What might look like a walking path, is actually the road....the flowers and everything were beautiful! We took a short side trip off this road to find wild coffee plants. Amazing!

News of the new Maytag steam washing machine had not yet reached Maria, but it didn't seem to concern her.

While Phil, Gustave, and I were walking through the town, we suddenly found ourselves walking into the home of this 90 year old sweet Mexican woman. Maria Concepcion, name not verified, was her name and through our translator, we learned that she has not left her house for over 30 years. (hence the goofy look on my face) She was standing next to her nearly new stove/oven.
